Q:What is a Kei Truck?

Q. What does JDM mean?
A: Japanese Domestic Market. It refers to cars that were produced for use in Japan. Many of which were never sold elsewhere.

Q: What is a Kei Car?
A: Like Kei Trucks they are special vehicles built for the Japanese market. The name literally means lightweight car and they are built to limited size and engine displacement; under 660cc, under 3.4m long x 1.48m wide x 2m high. They are limited also to carrying 4 people with a cargo capacity of less than 350kg.

Q. How fast can a KEI (mini) Truck go?
A. Depending on the make / model some are capable of driving about 75mph others only about 50mph. I try not to go faster than 60mph.

Q: How fast can a Kei Car go?
A: They are typically faster than Kei Trucks with top speeds as fast as 85-90MPH.

Q. Can you drive a KEI (mini) Truck on the road?
A. Yes. The vehicles we have will all have a Florida title included.
